Swallowing the bitter pill

Wrestled with the idea of letting go. I wasn't sure whether God wanted me to do so till this morning when my Quiet Time spoke of following Jesus Through His Temptations - it spoke of how we should guard the Son of God inside each of us against things that may take our attention away from Him. (And I realised that she does hold a sentimental spot within me =( Couldn't sleep last night =\)

One confirmation was when i prayed for our friendship & I prayed that God would protect her heart against anything that would take her heart away for Him. Another thing I prayed was to have the discernment to recognise what I should press on in & when I should just leave it to God's hands. I believe that God wants me to focus on him at this moment, have decided to just be cool about it (well, as much as possible.)

Hebrews 13:13 " Let us,then,go to him outside the gate, bearing the disgrace he bore."

Matthew 4:19 " Follow Me..."

Reading the QT material & those two verses above confirmed that the road ahead is long...sigh..don't know how I can make it man...How to "tong" so long & suffer like this...=\ But I've decided to Follow Jesus & I will finish this race in style ;) *Whoosh*

Well, sharing this on my blog does pose a potential threat to me (Just had those crappy bgr crap talk by someone - don't blame anyone - situation fits their criteria, only thing is that they don't know either of us well. Well the interrogator & i thrashed it all out to prevent any ill feelings out & also prevent any foothold for the evil one to take hold of) - and least it would reduce any possibility that people would get the wrong idea - especially in church. (Hello to those who have the powers,please get the facts right before approaching, and approach in an appropriate manner. I won't hide my feelings if i were to like someone. I don't beat around the bush either.)

Well, those words are for those who can't get the facts right & gossip. Its totally not cool to shoot before checking out for friendlies.
